Bitcoin climbed through August, peaked at $82,258 on September 3, then slid back to $79,568 the next day after a hot US jobs report shook rate expectations.
Near $78,000 three things overlap at once: the unfilled part of the gap the surge left behind, the 12-hour average price line, and the low where that surge began.
If $76,200, the floor that held on both September 1 and 2, gives way, the whole uptrend is broken — which is exactly why the stop sits just under it at $76,100.
