Bitcoin climbed from about $62,500 to $81,490 over the course of August, and has since pulled back to trade around the $77,700 area.
Near $76,000 several things converge: the 12-hour average-price line, a cluster of lows defended repeatedly for three weeks, and where August's rally began.
That said, a break of the $75,522 low would mean the floor of the entire August advance has given way, so the stop is placed just below it at $75,000.
