Ethereum surged 17% in a single day on 19 August and has spent the week since consolidating between 2,413 and 2,548 dollars, holding nearly all of that gain.
The 2,416-2,440 zone is where recent lows and the surge's pullback level overlap, and volume has halved since the breakout, suggesting sellers are drying up.
If 2,413 dollars breaks on a four-hour closing basis this is no longer a dip but a trend reversal, so the stop sits just underneath it at 2,380 dollars.
